Évora, the Queen of Alentejo - A day trip from Lisbon to enjoy the picturesque and timeless city

ITINERARY

We'll leave Lisbon crossing one of the 2 bridges and drive towards Évora (150km/93, 2m), which means approximately 1h45 on the road to get there and repeat the ride to return to Lisbon.

In Évora we'll see:

- a Roman temple built on 1AC;

- a 13th century gothic cathedral;

- an astonishing bone chapel;

- the typical houses, shops and streets, beautiful gardens;

- the second oldest Portuguese university.


In the surroundings of Évora, there's an impressive 16th century aqueduct and breathtaking landscapes filled with cork trees and prickly pear orchards and megalithic culture.
